| Ingredients | Meat pieces (chicken, pork, beef, lamb) Onions 1 Tin of Chopped Tomatoes 1 Tin of Tomato Soup 1 jar of curry paste, 2 cups of rice Salt and Pepper |
| Method | Brown the meat pieces and onions gently in a frying pan on a medium heat. Drain off the fat, and put into a large saucepan. To the meat and onions add the tin of tomatoes, the tin of soup and a quarter of the jar of curry paste. Cook on a low heat for 20 minitues as meat will be mor tender. If you are in a rush you can cook on meduim heat for 10 minutites although the meat wont be as tender. *Tip* Ensure you put the rest of the curry paste in the fridge as it lasts longer! That jar will make three more curries. Put two cups of rice in a seperate saucepan and add two/three cups of boiling water with a little salt. Cook rice as per instructions on pack. *Tip* easy cook rice is the easiest and quickest to cook. If you have any food left over, leave to cool and put in the fridge, then when you come home from the pub, you have a curry to have. works for me and have saved me a lot of money! |
